The College must confirm that your education is substantially equivalent to that of a Canadian MLT graduate. To complete a substantial equivalency (prior learning assessment) please contact the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Sciences (CSMLS).

The MLT requirements are reflected in the national competency profile

Applicants are now required to successfully complete a jurispurdence exam. The exam will be assigned to applicants as per the REG.032 Jurisprudence Exam policy.

Remember: You cannot work as a medical laboratory technologist in Nova Scotia until you have received notice from NSCMLT that your application has been approved.
