Consultation on New Bylaws

December 24, 2025 

 

The Nova Scotia College of Medical Laboratory Technologists (NSCMLT) is in the process of transitioning from the Medical Laboratory Technology Act to the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA). As part of this transition, the College has developed draft By-Laws to ensure alignment with the RHPA. These By-Laws are designed to support effective, transparent, and accountable governance in keeping with the College’s mandate.

The College is sharing the draft By-Laws to invite feedback from registrants, key partners, and members of the public. Please note that the College’s new name under the RHPA has not yet been finalized through regulation.

The deadline to provide feedback is 9:00 am, Monday, January 26, 2026.
